I know there are different types of materials for cast wheels. Do we know which one is the strongest? I'm in the market for new wheels an I want to know what alloy to look for. I'm wanting forged but not wanting to drop $2500+ on just wheels.

Each wheel has a load or a weight rating. That's how you can tell.

The stock beadlocks are strong and will be your cheapest option on a used set. You would think that other brand wheels with a weight rating of 2500lbs would be strong but I have managed to bend two wheels with that rating.

TR Beadlocks (and simulated beadlocks) carry a 3000lb load rating. Highest I've found for 6 lug. They're around $1500 plus shipping
