This is under the front passenger side fender, towards the front of the truck in front of the tire. I took a bunch of aftermarket wiring out from the previous owner, and this is what’s left. What’s that blue wire with a white stripe? Trying to see what it is, and if I can use the red wire since it’s tapped in. Thanks if anyone knows.

I don't think that is a factory harness that wire is tapped into. I haven't seen any OEM runs that have that plastic split loom on them. I think you would have to trace back those wires.
They split the loom open, there’s that black wrap around it that they opened. I’m racking my brain here…

Being blue with a gray tracer, I suspect that it's the parking lamp circuit to the passenger side headlight. That wire tap is completely hack; it it pierces the wire sheath, which damages the strands and creates a path for water enter the circuit. Not only that, but the BCM is only designed to power the load of the factory lighting; adding additional load to that circuit will damage the Field Effect Transistor in the BCM.

I’ll solder it back together and wrap that loom back up. I don’t need anything spliced into the parking lights. Thanks guys I appreciate it.
