What show got you into cars & trucks?

I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed that none of you have said the original Death Race 2000!

Man, you guys came up with some good ones in here! I love that this went from Dukes of Hazzard, Herbie, Knight Rider and Smokey and the Bandit all the way to Gran Turismo and Need for Speed Underground.

The magazines are a great call too. Hot Rod, Car Craft, Four Wheeler and 4-Wheel & Off-Road were basically the internet before we had the internet. You'd read the same issue 20 times and somehow still find something you missed.

Also pretty awesome seeing someone mention meeting Stacy David after growing up watching him on Powerblock/Horsepower TV. That's the kind of stuff that really did shape what a lot of us thought was cool.

And @OKflyswatter bringing up the original Death Race 2000 at the very end definitely gets bonus points because I didn't see that one coming.
