OK...no laughing at the stupid guy... but what does this actually do? Pardon the ignorance...
Allows you to program the truck to perform different features, check diagnostics, clear DTC codes, etc.

There is some useful stuff for someone that doesnt want to do anything crazy like: Lincoln Mirror Mode (where it folds the mirrors on lock, and unfolds on unlock), showing temperatures above your gauges on the info clusters, and on and on.

This is the one I use. I have a MAC with a windows VM and works well with it.

Good point gdestiny... I too am running a Mac with boot camp. The adapter I referenced above works with Mac (in boot camp) and Windows machines.
