Guaranteed that the least concern of the Raptor engineers is increasing the top speed of these things.

That said, my wife finds the Raptor to work just fine at triple digit speeds...in Mexico, of course.

It still a aspect of performance gen 1 were 100mph and gen 2 are 107mph . So if it wasn't part of their design goals it would of been left at 100 as all f150s were. Weather you choose to drive at speed is your decision.

Sure, in the same way that sports car engineers are at all worried about topping the number of cupholders in the previous generation.

The tires basically dictate the top speed rating on these trucks and this one will be no different.

Put BFG Projects on it and you can do 140+ offroad if you can get the truck to go that fast.

Unrestricted (supposedly minor mods
Fuel cell, roll cage, etc., but mostly stock) it was reported they hit like 140mph in sections, and won its class by the way.
So gen 2 unrestricted cats out of the bag at about 140mph.
my stock 19 limited to 100 mph

37 inch tires have 99 mph speed rating.

Per Discount Tire's site the stock size 37" BFG KO2s in speed rating S are up to 112mph, If the Raptor has a different tire then what they list as available then would have to see specifics to know if 112mph is incorrect.

I had my GEN 2 to 130mph few times as well as my Gen 1 130 mph on 37s .

Your right just looked at BFG website. S speed rating for 37 . interesting the 315s have a T rating now 118 mph . They must have updated their ratings recently .
