Reviving an old thread. Is airing down to 25 psi okay? Gen2 with regular 17s, no beads
I run 48 at home, 32 in mex (shit roads) also any offroading, and 15 in sand. (No beadlocks btw)

GEN2’s at Raptoberfest were running 25 but be aware of corners and try not to power drive it into it otherwise you will take off a bead. Several folks did.
Nitrogen - being a gas as present in a tire (or atmosphere, for that matter at ~79% of what we breathe) is still subject to gas-law behavior, regardless of marketing gimmicks and claims. It will increase in volume if it gets hot, and decrease in volume if it cools. In a confined space/fixed volume, that translates to a pressure increase and pressure decrease on heating/cooling.
I have mine at I think it's 44 psi if I get stuck I have a buddy pull me out haha haven't been stuck yet but only snow mud. sand sucks the key is to not spin your tires
40 street, 34 desert (summer), 30 desert (winter).
17/18 in the sugar sand, I have run as low as 12 when it was super soft in other 1/2 tons without issue, no beadlocks but also only driving at 15 mph in 4 lo
