Anybody know any reason why I can't press the LCA, Fox shock & Geiser coil spring up into the top insulator cap? I've never seen it tried before, but it seems easier. You don't struggle to stuff the shock into the LCA, you get the coil lined up with the coil saddle, then bolt the insulator to the shock bucket, and just jack the whole thing up through the one hole on top, using the floor jack to slowly push the threaded shock rod up and then bolt that on. Seems like it should work, correct?
Yes it should BUT, the geiser spring may be too stiff to compress once you start jacking it up BEFORE the side of the truck would start to lift. I dunno, when I reinstalled my shocks after putting the geiser’s on I remember jacking up the LCA some but not a lot and it took ALOT of force.

Yeah, if they made a remake of The Beverly Hillbilly's today, they would have to pick a different state and change the theme song because Californy isn't the place you ought to be. So, load up that Raptor and move away from Californy, that is. No water for swimmin pools, fires burning out movie stars.
