sure its the pump and not the hose?
The Lee kit replaces all the flexible lines so my bases are covered. For about $150 more than what the dealer wanted I’ll have a fully upgraded power steering setup that solves a known weak spot with the Raptor (Ford pump and small reservoir)...

Yea I also had to do a lot of firewall work and modifications -hammer those pinch welds . As for the re gearing , I don’t regret it at all have done it 2 years ago and truck is smooth with 40s

As you know it accelerates faster from a stop but highway speed is reduced because of the higher gear ratios .

I also did some calculations with Carson at nitro and gears , the 4.88 is the way to go with 40s

“If you are running 40" tires on a Raptor, I'd suggest a 4.88 gear set to correct for the tire size. A 5.13 ratio would be the most aggressive, but would have sacrifices for daily driving and not be as strong as the 4.88 design due to the smaller pinion head”

P.S reason why I recommended the Milestar tires they are a lot cheaper than other 40s + heard a lot of great feedback + it weighs 84lbs compared to let’s say. Nitto 40 which is 110 lbs so that’s all unsprung weight

Still a heavy tire no doubt but the weight difference is a +
