What did u do to your raptor today?

Decided to clean and wax it. Its probably been over 4 years since I last waxed it other than Adam’s H2O Guard & Gloss every now and then after a wash.

Taking it off-road over the next two 3 day weekends and figured it was about time to give it some protection.

All Adam’s
Wash, claybar with Detail Spray, Patriot Wax (hard wax), 2nd application of Buttery Wax (soft wax), Patriot wax on wheels, Revive Hand Polish on the hood decal followed with Matte detailer, outside glass with vinegar & glass cleaner and Brilliant Glaze on the inside glass, Super VRT on trim and finally some tire shine. Hate this job, no wonder its been 4 years, LOL

Installed new shocks, front and rear. Replaced the old Magnaflow exhaust with a Corsa. Rotors, pads (purchased through Freedom MotorSports) and hub actuator to be installed on Thursday. Also located the annoying squeak that I could of swore was coming from under the truck, passenger side. I was wrong, driver side tailgate latch was producing the squeak.

Leaving to head to Utah in 2 days. Cleaned and waxed it yesterday and underneath it inspecting things today and find this and these are brand new Fox 3.0 shocks. This sucks

Did a two stage paint correction then waxed it with Collinite 845 insulator wax, waiting for that to cure then I will add a coat of P&S Bead Maker polymer sealant.

cool you installed a shock fluid level checker...


similar to the oil pan fluid checker, if its still dripping you know you still have oil!

thats blows. maybe just a loose fitting? fingers crossed!
