Yeah, I did the very same thing with the very same muffler. I wouldn't do it again. There's no power increase, there's no MPG increase, and you lose the raspy note that the factory muffler produces at wide open throttle. I almost scared a Mazda convertible off the road while passing with the factory muffler, but lost that "capability" with the MagnaFlow 12288. It's just smooth. It's not louder, it's not quieter, it's just smooth. Worth $200? No. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the factory muffler. There is no problem to solve.
