I’ve previously had good experiences buying factory spicer u-joints from the dealer, really no more expensive than the auto parts stores. That might’ve changed over the years.

i eventually found the spicer u joints that @Canuck714 posted. went in easy and no more vibration. i did order a second set to keep on hand though. just in case. since these are small, they fit in my truck storage.
