This is totally nothing important but now that I have noticed it, it's going to drive me crazy! I just had the cam phasers done and when I got home I heard a vacuum leak. I found it pretty easy, it was one of the lines for my TurboSmart BV, plugged it in, problem solved.

But, I noticed the suction on the vacuum hose pulsed instead of being smooth like we have always been used to. Kind of reminded me of one of those cheap tire inflaters/compressors. Tick tick tick tick instead of a smooth constant flow. Why? What makes the vacuum pulse on our trucks?

I've heard of blow-off valves making this noise with cheap hoses instead of hard plastic like factory but what gives?
