I wanted to do this mod to gain the equivalent of one more upfitter switch. I used the Ford 2014 F-150 Wiring Diagrams book as my guide.

After reading through and finding the pertinent information on the fog circuit.

I then needed to check these connectors to see if they were wired from the factory, and in fact they were not wired.

I put together a list of parts needed to make this work.
1. Headlight Switch /w Fog Pull Out
2. 5 pins for 4 connectors

Parts List:
1. 9L3Z-11654-CA Switch
2. DU2Z-14474-CA pin-need 3
3. DU2Z-14474-DA pin-need 1
4. DU2Z-14474-EA pin-need 1
Note: the pin kits come in packs of 5, they are repair pins with approx 10" inches of wire attached, a crimp connector and heat shrink.

The pins are easy to add to the connectors but you need to get the orientation correct so study the other wires in the connector. All the connectors have a locking/release mechanism for the pins. When adding pins they snap in place but to get them out a de-pinning tool is needed.

Parts have been determined so lets get to work. I started with the headlight switch and added the 2 CA pins to C205 pins 5 and 10.fogs 009.JPG

I then moved to the BCM in the passenger foot well where you will add 1 DA pin to C2280A pin 2 and add 1 EA pin to C2280E pin 5.

The final pin goes to the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM). Add 1 CA pin to C2414A pin 1.

Great work! What are you going to wire in and use this handy new discovery for?

And how the hell does your red stripe look brand new?!?!

Thanks I'm not sure, I've thought about extra backup lighting, ambient lighting. I picked up a Putco Switchblade for a song at my local ford store, maybe do something with it.

Awesome work and great write up. I’ve just recently started thinking about doing this as well. Appreciate you taking the time to lay out the details to save fellas like myself some time and research.
