Anyone else notice an uptick on Gen 1 prices on used car websites?

As an example, CarMax posted a 7k mile Raptor for sale at $47,000 recently. Two days later, they upped the price to over 52k?! That’s Gen 2 territory. Seems like they’ve done similar things across the board to Gen 1s, regardless of mileage.

It's tough to gauge it with CarMax. My local one has 2017 and 18's for 65k still. Somehow they think a used one is worth more than new? Gen 1's do hold their value well considering they were around 47-52k in 2014 but CarMax is high... And they're over priced ;)

They are rising in the SE. 13 and 14's anyways.

Not going for a Gen 2 anymore, so I started to look at Gen 1 prices. Surprised to see even trucks with over 60k listed over 40k down here.

My coworker was trying to talk shit about my old Raptor 2010, with almost 90,000 miles vs his a few year newer ram with 60,000 miles .We looked up the NADA prices . He was shocked my older truck with more miles was worth $10,000 more than his newer ram.
And would still beat the **** out of his truck off road

RAM gives those trucks away new.

They won't hold value.

New ones are nice, but it's the last truck to ever compare values to. lol
