Can anybody tell me what this is? opened the back rear driver door fell on the ground.

it goes on the top corner of the door in a small hole...

It’s a bump stop for the door. Twist the pointy end back in the hole on the door edge.

They are also on the bottom of the door.
I keep knocking them out when I wash the truck.
Perhaps I should glue them in and/or keep some in stock.
