the point is, the em valve is a solution looking for a problem. No need to replace the mechanical valve that you have with this. just install your mechanical valve properly.
I don't have a mechanical valve, I had an OEM valve. WTF are you talking about?

I've been running a pre-production EM BOV since November.
Turbosmart used my truck to R&D the fitment.
It is a thing of beauty and plug n play.

Side benefit is that my catch can is almost dry since I installed the EM.

How would the BOV affect your catch can grabbing oil, just curious.

What did you do with the diverter pipe? It no longer plugs into the turbo smart so did you plug it?

Here is a picture of it mounted wrong (at least I think). See how the wires off the valve press against frame rail- not good. Turn the valve 180° and twist into intercooler so wires go toward inside of intercooler. Utilize the other threaded hole for mounting bracket.

Kit came with a billet plug for the pipe back to intake. I took the extra step of zip tying it to the adjacent pipe so it's not just dangling there. I wouldn't leave it hanging free...
