ISSUE
Some 2011 F-150 Raptor vehicles built on or before 3/12/2011 may exhibit excessive clunk or a chirp/slip/bump condition from the driveshaft on acceleration from a stop or when bringing the vehicle to a stop.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove and discard the existing driveshaft assembly. Refer to Workshop (WSM), Section 205-01 Removal and Installation Driveshaft-Rear, One Piece.

2. Install the updated driveshaft assembly. Refer to WSM, Section 205-01 Removal and Installation Driveshaft-Rear, One Piece.

Pirate. Attached is what I received when I took my 11 Screw in with the same problem. They ordered the replacement shaft and plan to replace this week.

I've got the clunk in my 2010 why no TSB for that year? It's a 10 and 1/2 with the 6.2

I went into the dealership and they told me there was no tsb, and to just grease it, and they would do it for free this time, and i should feel lucky they would do it free this one time...

The TSB states that there is a group of driveshafts that did not have nickel plating on the yoke that causes momentary binding. The driveshafts that are approved for replacement are BL3V-4602-AB and BL3V-4602-BB. There is a large part number decal on the drive shaft.

My 2010 has started to do it on a regular basis now.....I wonder how much of a hassle they will give me about replacing it.
