I've had this done and the clutches replaced at the same time (26K) due to mine were toasted. I have noticed that now when it downshifts from 4th to 3rd it slams it into gear without letting it slip a little or rev matching. Any ideas? I haven't taken it into the dealer yet but was see if there was a TSB for that?

I dropped mine off yesterday due to this and what appeared to be slippage.

So does the words "Warranty coverage limits/policies are not altered by a TSB" mean this isn't covered under warranty?

unfortunately, yes, that's exactly what it means.

a TSB is like a supplement to a repair manual. it saves the tech time trying to diagnose the customers concern... like a cheat sheet.

It means that if you have this done, it won't alter your warranty. Basically, your warranty will still be intact if this is performed. If you are outside of your warranty, it should be covered by Ford as well.
