Yup & I loved it, wheeled the shit out of that thing. When I sold it everything on it still worked, everything. Not sure I'll be able to say that when my Raptor is 10 years old.
How? It doesn’t have a low range. Or any ground clearance to speak of. The one I test drove in 2012 was so underpowered that even I wouldn’t touch it. I ended up in a Nissan Frontier. Trashed every skid plate, even tore one off, but still won’t say that I wheeled the shit out of it, it was just normal use, going hiking, not wheeling. The Ridgeline would have been in need of a backcountry tow, and those aren’t cheap. I’m calling BS.
Not knocking Fiat but it seems like they just throw a big engine in a chassis of what ever they have on the floor and slap a supercharger on top. I mean the Charger is still on an old Mercedes chassis, come on Fiat ya being lazy. When the Gen1 raptor came out it was something unheard of that a big brand manufacturer would build this and offer a warranty. Ford performance engineers put in work when they release a new performance vehicle ie...GT350, GT500, Raptor. I'm interested in the bilsteins vs the Foxes suspension wise.
Motor trend and tfl said the king is dead, I say bullshit till you put it on the podium in Baja Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ive never seen a company go backwards in design worse than Honda did w/ the ridge line (they F’d up the Pilot too but I think more people wanted a cheap MDX vs a utilitarian suv) - it’s like they took the old ridge line & snipped what tiny nuts it had right off lol!
We have talked about a TRX, Raptor, Honda Ridgeline, etc. Why no love for the Pontiac Aztec? You could get an option tent........
