Leer 180XR

Bringing this thread back to life... Now that you guys have had the toppers for a few months are you experiencing any paint damage on the bed flare? Spoke to two different shops and both have seen issues. Apparently ARE solution is to install a different type of seal that gives a bit more clearance.

I have had a Leer 180XR since July and do not have any paint damage. Perfect paint match as well. The big key is making sure top is clamped correctly and tight. Have done some offroading with no issue as well.

Are topper

Here is what the are z series topper looks like. If you are interested I am looking to sell it. I purchased it with the truck.

I'd like to put a cap on my Rappy, but I'm not keen on people being able to see what's in my bed. Specifically, I'll often have a bunch of pricey sporting gear in there and I don't want to paint a big "steal my stuff" banner on my cap by having see-through windows.

Does anyone make a cap with completely opaque windows, or is there some kind of window film that can be applied to completely black them out?

My leer is pretty dark tint. Tough to see anything in the bed. Also, the lock is hard wired into the door locks. I can lock and unlock with the fob.

Had an ARE z series on my old fx4. Looked great with the frameless windows. Paint didn't match great, sent it back and it pealed.
