I had a Jason topper on my Platinum F-150 and hated how it made the truck look like something a 70 year old man would drive, but it worked great for my two 100 lb dogs. I knew I couldn’t do that to the Raptor.
I love the look of overland vehicles and figured I could incorporate the look into my truck while making an area in the bed that my wife would feel comfortable with me transporting the dogs.
I still have a ways to go before I’m done with the exterior, but this is a start! I have another recovery track mount for the passenger side and will be mounting a hi-lift jack and light bar on the rear of the bed rack. That should prevent my dogs from trying to escape the bed and still be functional.
