GEN 1 Transmission Service Question

I have 64k on my truck and its time to service the trans.

Flush or just change the fluid?

The truck has never been abused or pulled anything.

On mine I just changed the fluid and filter BUT also upgraded to a Saudi transmission cooler and PA dipstick at the same time. I have read that if you can't (or in my case won't heh) do a "flush" they recommend just replacing the cooler along with fluid/filter. IMHO that's the better way to go, and do it yourself so you know it's done right, but again that's just my opinion.
