Has anyone attempted a tranny swap from a Gen 2 to a Gen 1?

I know a few guys were putting gen2 engines in gen 1s but swapping just a transmission would be a nightmare. It needs to as the engine pcm to operate.

Yeah, that would be the tough part...You'd have to completely reset a lot of the parameters with HP Tuner or some other kind of powerful PCM manipulating capable tool. I'm not thinking about doing it, just wondering if anyone has tried to pull it off. The idea of a 10 speed is enticing.

lol a box programmer has not the capabilities to get that trans to work with a whole different OS/Software.

10 speed, some tweaking on the TV cable a lil bit and she'll shift just like a race truck.
