Hey guys, I was cruising down the highway doing about 75mph and floored it to accelerate around a semi. There was a loud bang in the drivetrain which seemed to come from the rear differential. I’ve experienced similar events before during hard acceleration and sometimes after coming to an abrupt stop. However this time the traction control warning came on while doing 75-80mph. I know the tires didn’t break loose, but what do you think caused it? Seems like the TCM got confused or something. Anyone else experience this? 2018 with 40k miles.

I have zero mechanical help to offer other than get the truck to a dealership. You’re still under warranty (unless the truck has tons of mods), and I’d want somebody to take a look at that.
