Traction Boards

I was watching the following review of the Raptor R (see video below), and he got it stuck pretty good in the mud. I was thinking some traction boards would have been helpful. I’ve been considering a set for my truck, but was wondering what others might have?

No doubt the maxtrax are nice, warranty is nice too. But I couldn’t justify the money for them… there are A TON of positive reviews for the bunker industries gen2 boards, which is what I went with, and love them!!! Used them on 2 SUV’s one raptor and a mini van. They’re SOMEWHAT flexible which is nice, not brittle. They’re really nice IMO .

I’ve got a cheap set, and have not had to use them an anger as of yet, but wouldn’t hesitate if I thought they would help.

* Disclaimer - These are single-use only. Nothing but MAXTRAX 4 me. I’ve used them for 10+ years, saved myAzzzzxsz and many other peopl, more times than I can count over the years. I carry 3 sets now.
Someone mentioned “Flexible” as a Benifit? In my experience, Flexible would/could be disastrous. I’ve used mine to bridge a gap and change approach/departure angles. I’ve seen the bargain ones snap but work ok for sand or mud.

I mentioned the flexibility characteristic. I guess I meant the boards i was referring to were Malleable enough to where they did not remain straight as an arrow and risk snapping. In my experience though, it is beneficial to have the boards conform somewhat to the obstacle in certain scenarios.
