The specs said that towing got better? In which way? They say GEN3 can do 8,000lbs. "conventional" towing. VS. what on the GEN2?

These are the actual towing specs stamped on my GEN2 (3 months old):

Is this to say that 5,000lbs. towing to 8,000lbs.? Because that is significant. But, I don't know which number they are talking about relative to GEN2.

Help?

I recall the statement was “8200 lbs conventional”. Not sure what ‘conventional’ implies (perhaps bumper pull vs goose neck).

Current truck is 5000WC/8000WD.

The receiver is rated higher than the G2 truck....

Conventional is a standard bumper pull. Nobody putting a gooseneck behind a raptor (or any half ton IMO), leave that to the big boys.

11k WD will pull a nice dump trailer though and that’s a huge perk.

Again, The hitch is rated more than the Raptor is. Current SCREW is 5000/8000. Appears the new truck will be 5000/8200. I never stated anything about Putting a 5th wheel trailer on a Raptor or any F150, only that conventional apparently = bumper pull (as opposed to 5th wheel), however there is a 5th wheel spec sheet for F150s.

Tongue weight is 500/800 (for the SCREW)

So what is the 11,000 lbs on there? I'm pulling our 7,000ish lbs trailer with our expedition using a weight distribution hitch. But, I would love to pull it with my 2019 Raptor.

Again (3rd time in the same page) the hitch is rated higher than the truck......

SCREW is rated at 5000wc and 8000wd

Not unlike other things where the truck is rated less than the sum of its parts. The tires are rated at 2535 lbs each x 4 = 10,140 lbs however the truck’s GVWR is 3000 lbs lower....

I only saw it mentioned once.

And that didn't tell me that the hitch receiver is what is rated to 11k lbs. And I didn't think that was apparent from the sticker. Thanks for the answer.
