Torsen front axle problems ! anyone else ???

What's there to prototype. I we is useless all together why even keep such a ****** system.
Hell even the oem 4x4 solenoids are crap. Hence I cut my floor board and got 2 levers coming from my atlas 4. No more button and knobs for me.
Now I can disconnect rear and just drive FWD if I ever wanted to.
It don't look pretty hacking up your interior and cutting the floor boards but for me it was a little project on my own

Just read this whole thread and wouldn't of thought there would be any problem being that 12+'s had upgraded difs. I recently had to drive FWD only (2011) for 50+ miles due to a rear u-joint issue and my front dif never made a sound and the truck drove fine. I was very careful though and drove like a grandma coming home from church on Sunday.

Hope you guys get this issue resolved, not fair on your part to have to deal with this.

So what system is in the 2017? Is it the same lame vacume IWE?
