Is anyone issuing binding from the torsen and major clunking from the transfer case in 4WD.

In gravel or dirt if I turn the wheel more then 15 degrees while in 4hi the torsen binds up and almost kills the engine. It “hops” like when the rear end is locked

Never had this issue on my gen1.
Making an appointment but figured I’d search around first.

That doesn’t sound normal. It shouldn’t be binding like that on dirt or gravel I wouldn’t think. Definitely bring it in and see what they say

I get slight binding in 4wheel high with lots of traction. Yours sounds more severe also 0 noise from the tcase for me. Good luck

In 2H the hubs aren't even locked so the torsen should not be playing a factor at all. If it is, I would look at the hubs being defective (being locked when they shouldn't be)
