I knew it was going to well...

Bought a set of front shocks. The bolts on top need to be moved to match my truck. Suggestions?

The bolts aren't evenly spaced, spin the shock until it lines up.

Without more information or a photo there's not much else for us to suggest.

If you look at the white line on the top cap and there's one pointing almost straight down on the spacer, they need to align to go in.

Experience.... Second one took an hour and a half! And the bolt pattern was 180 degrees off.

Someone is going to say "what the flock"! I put new bottom bolts and then used the old nut to double nut it. That and red loctite.

And for information, the passenger side is easier. Get the top tower bolts from above, it much easier too.

Glad you got it straightened out man. Gonna hi-jack your thread since it’s fixed lol. Anyone know the part number for the top strut mount? I hear there is a bearing inside and wanna replace them when I get my shocks rebuilt. Wanna replace everything in question so this “clunk” goes away …..
