Tires 38PSI

What is everyone keeping in their tires? Are you adhering to what the door says 38 PSI? Thanks!

No, what matters is heat buildup in tires from heavy flex and that isn't going to happen until much lower pressure. I will run 28 psi on high speed offroad trips and I don't bother to air back up for shorter highway sections that connect the dirt. When I point it home and spend all day driving 80 then it is time to get them back to 35 ish psi.

I find 38.7 to be the sweet spot for my Baja T/As. I also run nitrogen.

Are you guys relying on the instrument gauge or using a tire pressure gauge to set the tire pressures? Is the display gauge in the truck accurate?
