Tire wear/ shock question

2011. Im getting a scalloped wear on my tires. Is it best to replace both shocks and struts, or is there a way to know which is specifically causing the problem?

Got it checked and it was only .2 of a degree off. Everywhere i research shows that its the shocks/ struts that causes it. every other tread gets worn more.

i would check control arm bolts, ball joints, tie rods and steering rack for any play in them

IF you do shocks/struts do them at least 2 at a time or it WILL ride funny
