    Hello guys,

looking at tires and wanted to see if anyone here had any real experience with either of the following tires on their Gen2 in the same size as the stock KO2’s.

    Cooper STT Pro
    Nitto Ridge Grappler
    BFG KM3

I did recently put on 17” Venomrex 602’s which are 10lbs lighter than the stock wheel. I want to know how your experience has been with any of the above tires in the 35 size, performance on road as well as MPG changes and how long the tires lasted.

    thanks!

    I'm in the same boat.

STT pro or Ridge Grappler or stay with stock KO2s.

Im in that boat too, but Im also looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3. Ran those on my previous truck and they were great tires.

Just a suggestion here. Go look at the reviews on the Falken WildPeak AT3W. For one, it has a better warranty that most 35” tires. I’ve got a set on my Wrangler and I’ve been very impressed. They didn’t hurt the ride at all and the offroad capabilities have been fantastic. I do a lot of crawling and have never gotten stuck. They are definitely better than K02s on wet pavement or snow.

The only thing I don’t know about them is their performance in Baja offroading scenarios, but I’m still planning to buy a set for my Raptor after the K02s wear out.

The Wildpeak look very very baja'ish

    I like it

But I want something a little more aggressive - thats why I picked up 5 STT Pros today

Slightly off-topic , but should I pick up an additional pressure sensor for the spare stt pro and rotate it?
Looks like an OEM sensor is $40?

If you're worried about weight the stt pro are the lightest

Nice! How much did you pay? Keep me updated once you get them on and if you can tell a difference in road noise and handling.... also MPG’s once you notice...

I run ridge grapplers. They perform well. Downsides are 2, theyre heavy and stiff with the e load range.

Im in the UAE but I paid $253 per tire.

In addition to the aggressive posture, I went with the STT Pros because they weigh more or less the same as the stock KO2.

I'll let you know what I think because I drive about 15.000 to 18,000 miles a year.

So I'm familiar with road noise on long trips.

I'm also keen to see the difference in increased side-wall stiffness and pressure (45 vs 65).

I usually keep mine at 40-42 because I like agile handling.

My stock KO2 are at 28,000 miles now but never been rotated.

That’s awesome! I drive a lot as well. Hopefully you have some positive feedback on them and that might sway me towards getting a set finally!
