Those who installed a JLT catch-can

Do any of you remember getting an "extra" part in their kit? There was one in my box that the instructions do not indicate it even exists. Here's what I got...

I just installed the JLT can. Did anyone think the hoses were too long?

Bringing up an old thread I know lol. Just installed on my 3.5 and the hoses are definitely too long. I had to get creative with routing them in order to get everything to fit. If you route them the way they are pictured in the instructions for a 3.5 there is no way to reinstall the engine cover. The line going to the PCV also has to hang down pretty low in order to clear the cover. I noticed the other hoses in that area are wrapped in heat reflective tape since they are pretty close to the passenger side turbo. Hopefully this isn't an issue down the road. I'm sure this is a universal kit to keep cost down but IMO they should make a kit specific to this truck so it fits correctly.
