Just a reminder as we have had many mis-posts lately. This sub-forum is specific to the "R" raptor. This forum is NOT for the 21+ raptor.

Ford is struggling to produce vehicles that are “currently in production.” The R might be a lofty pipe dream.

As I’ve said before, and there’s no sense changing horses now.

The “Raptor R” won’t make it to showroom floors.

Now, I hope I’m wrong, I really do. Because I -SO- want one.

But, Ford did not challenge Dodge with the SRT10 release. The GT500 is notable slower than the current Mopar Alphabet soup supercharged v8’s. Yes, it handles better, but still. 2nd place is first loser. We’ve seen chatter that Ford has had trouble with durability with the power dialed up higher than *** hp- I think that was 650. This is a LOT of power to be putting through an off road truck. Not saying they can’t do it, just that it is a challenge. And is that challenge worth it?

Versus say... a tarted up EB TTV6 closer to the GT in power level?

we’ll see what happens. Like I said, I hope I’m wrong on this.
