Look guys Im not a jerk.. Sorry for unloading the other day. I just am fed up for you and everybody involved in this situation. Just because they said they could fix it or thought they could fix it is kind of irrelevant. The extent of water damage is never ending and they probably didn't fully realize the extent of the damage at first look. Our trucks are full of wires and sensitive computers. I feel sorry for Rookie for obvious reasons but I also feel for the dealer that was handed a truck that has been flooded. Its like being handed a shredded newspaper and told to put it back together. Could it be done? Sure... Is it worth it? Probably not. Like I said a while back you need to draw a line and accept the situation and move on. Sure you were screwed... Sure its cost you money... Sure its just been one royal pain in the ass.. But hell just take a step back and look at the big picture for your own sanity mostly. Its just a truck. just metal and wires on 4 wheels that's it. Not trying to give the dad talk just trying to put the situation in perspective. At least that's how I see it and might have missed some side info or some side stories. Again, Im sorry for posting that the other day. I was a bit tipsy and had one hell of a day at work and my wife wasn't around to beat up. I feel for you bro. I know we love our trucks and love this site.
