The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

Anybody with these installed have updates/comments on how these are holding up? I'm about ready to pull the trigger but looking to see if there's any additional feedback to consider.

Just an update - one of our customers went BIG at a raptor run recently with our 3.0 Kit!

Going this hard takes some talent with any setup so definitely do so at your own risk. With that said, what we’re hearing from this customer it has been performing flawlessly after weeks of repeated punishment!!

BTW, this truck is running Geisers up front, Deaver +3’s in the rears and +2 drop shackles.

From Mikra's website: "Front shock package is recommended to be paired with a set of Rear Fox Factory 3.0″ Piggyback Internal Bypass Shocks – Ford/Fox PN. HL3V-18W003-CB."

Some guys run external bypass rears as well. Either way a 3.0” bypass shock internal or external is the way to go. Externals are a bit better off road

These will work with gen 1 Geiser springs correct? No need to buy a set of gen 2 ones? Also any words of aftermarket tie rod interference with the shock shaft? Looking to buy a set of these and those are my only two concerns! @Doug Mikra

Should have no issues with aftermarket tie rod clearances and also the Gen 1 geiser springs. Seems to be most are running geisers over stock springs. Thanks!!!
