Next up it was time to swap out the Corsa exhaust with resonator delete for something a bit mellower sounding. I decided to add back the stock resonator, and then go with a black coated Magnaflow system. I'm really pleased with the mellow sound, and the looks of the system.

Then it was time to take this thing for its maiden voyage in the dirt (or at least its maiden voyage in the dirt with me behind the wheel). I headed up to Barstow to catch the first MORE race of the season. Since I was coming from a full long travel I-beam F-150, I had to remind myself that I was now driving a truck with 30% less wheel travel, and 100% more horsepower. Overall the truck did great though and it was a fun first trip out.

And the aftermath:

Looks really good! Its a small thing but I really like how the paint around the tailgate emblem turned out.

Check out the first page, that's got pictures at the end of the painting process, as well as an installed pic. The paint has held up great thus far.

I actually ended up painting the faceplate of my radio/climate controls as well as around the shifter since they were blue from the factory and I prefer the silver look and was happy with how the tailgate emblem bezel turned out. I'll post some pics of that this weekend. I'm in the process of swapping my door panels for ones with silver trim, as well as swapping my seat covers for ones with the gray accents instead of the blue.

Haha thanks, yeah, been on a bit of a tear since I got the truck 2 months ago. Not too much other new stuff to show except some projector retrofits that I got from TCM GLX on here, and getting ready to swap out all the OEM leather seat covers for a brand new set of leather seat covers I got from a 2014 with the gray accents instead of the blue.
