Switch Pro Set Up

I know that a number of people are running Switch Pros either due to the amount of lights they have or for their strobe option.

My question is for those that use the strobe set up. What lights do you have sep up for it and where do you have them mounted?

I’ve installed a couple SPOD and a switch pros, I still don’t see the appeal in the switch pros aside from there seems to be more vehicle specific mounts available. Having to mount the fuse box and terminals in addition to the switch pros seems to make it a messy install. The SPOD is self contained and makes for a clean install.

FYI, I’m pretty sure that install method is not recommended by switch pros. I think they advise to use but end connectors to connect the leads instead of a fuse block. Even though most people do it as you pictured.

I will probably end up using water tight connectors for the lights.

Ok. Getting ready to install all of these lights and have a game plan set.

Question I have is has anyone found a good ignition circuit to tap into near the battery? Also looking for a high beam circuit to tap.

Didn't answer my question. I am not wanting to run a wire into the cab and splice into the BCM. I just need a signal to run upto the Switch-Pros solid state module. The module will turn on the light as needed.

The power wire from switch pro has a fuse in it.

Copy that. But are you doing the direct swithpro wiring to your lights or are you getting the terminal box in between that one (like the Toyota guys).

I went straight, ish. Switch Pro recommended a straight connection. I made 2 serviceable harnesses.

Will be going this same route when I finally finish installing the Switch Pro on the OBS as well.
