Mine were junk at 15k. I just bought new ones and pulled back the dust covers and loaded them up with red grease. Have 15k on them now with no issues. It was worth the money in my eyes not have the issues every 15-20k.

These have plagued my truck. I bought an OEM replacement about three months back, it took the clanking noise away initially and now three months later it's back and loud as ever, so frustrating!

When you say you pulled the covers back, I looked at mine and they're sealed up with o-rings. How did you do that? Help, I'm desperate to get rid of this noise, parking lots are embarrassing!
