I wonder if its an internal joke at Ford... like the first prototype had them backwards, so they continue to manufacture them that way. Seems obvious they should be reversed.

in regards to offroading it may help, those holes being closer to the tire let more crap past it vs it switched around.

Fine, I'll do it too and see if I like it. Probably Thursday. Does anyone want to save my knees a few trips up and down the stairs to the toolboxes? What size are the bolts? I'll post before/after.

10 mm socket is all you need. I did buff both surfaces tho
