Good afternoon. Have a white 2020 Screw. Assembling the parts to upgrade to a Fab4 pre-runner bumper. Have an old 8K Warn winch (steel rope) that’s in good shape, but heavy. Will an 8K be enough muscle? I have always run on assumption 1.5X weight ratio is ok. Any suggestions on best size, and best winch for the money? Run Southeast territory with lots of rock and slick muck. Thanks for your thoughts folks!

I stick with a 12K on my Raptor. 8K works on my Jeep (I'll go to 9K if it ever dies). 8K is too small for the Raptor in my opinion.

A good rule of thumb is 2x the vehicle weight, so 12k for the Raptor. WARN ZEON 12-S Platinum, buy once, cry once.
