I have a noise in my steering column. It sounds like it is right behind the steering wheel. I lubed up the firewall pass-through area and no dice. It’s not suspension or anything outside of the cab, it’s right behind the steering wheel.

Anyone ever had a bad clock spring make a squeak noise?

Lol unfortunately not. Its when i let off itll have a little “click” part way up

I’m not out in the garage, but if there’s any exposed spring or mechanical part, I’d spray it with good ol lubricant, can’t hurt? May just make your interior stink, like mine after I sprayed the shaft where it goes into the firewall. It’ll pass LOL
