Yeah I highly recommend the Mickey Thompsons for snow and sand. They are game changers!I was gonna say. I watched like 5 of these and I know my KO2s wouldn’t have been that straight under throttle…lol

Glad you enjoyed them! I used a handheld the the first 2 years. For the past 3 Snoballs I’ve used the ICOM 2730A which I purchased from LVJ Motorsports. Keith is the radio expert! If you want to go the handheld way (for now) I would recommend getting a 3RD brake light that has a NMO antenna mount and uses Baja design S2s or equivalent for the chase lights. Don’t get those rock crawl light ones, those are awful and I refuse to be behind someone that runs them. Anyways, by doing this you can connect the antenna cable to your radio via an adapter cable Keith sells. If you do want to go to a mounted radio in the future everything is pretty much set up, you just take off the adapter and connect the antenna cable to the radio after you found a home for the mounted radio.I have sone purchases to make in order to sign up for next Jan. Did you use a handheld radio?Thx for sharing.
