The plastic from the factory on my sidesteps started peeling a couple months ago after a chunk cracked off from the winter cold and now has gotten way worse after being off-road last weekend. Has anyone gone the route of getting their side steps redone and possibly sprayed in bed liner?
I’ve gotten some local estimates and Linex seems absurdly expensive while a shop local to me said they would do $75 a step plus the time it would take to remove the plastic. They don’t sandblast them which brings up a concern for longevity to me but anything I should look out for when going down this route?
