I'm in the process of buying the parts I need for rebuilding the oem 2.5 shocks, and I have a couple questions about types of shock oil.

1. Is there a noticeable difference between mineral vs synthetic oils? In the DIY sticky people mentioned King shock (mineral) oil is virtually the same as JM92, but Schmidty racing recommends synthetic Lucas oil.

2. What weight oil is best. Schmidty racing has 5, 7.5, and 10w oil, is there really any noticeable difference. It looks like King oil is only available in 5w from what I can find.

Thanks
