Does everyone’s back of front seats have this piece of black plastic sticking out at the bottom? Or should it be tucked into something?19188BA4-96A5-4D76-9A4D-92AACE085C7D.jpeg

I doubt it. I believe the fabric should have a "pocket" to slip over.

My truck is somewhere waiting on a transport to get to my dealer. If you think it's incorrect take it to the dealer.

I checked mine today after seeing this. This is how it was on my last gen2. On my gen3 it seems to be Velcro that holds it flat. I did not try peeling it back. But it doesn’t fold in.

you know how the seat belt latch against the console is held by a elastic loop? On my last gen2 they never put it in the loop and it was impossible to get it in. It’s just sloppy.
