You are inspiring me to head down there again. I just hate the drive now we use to go once a year and out to NINAS

We caught it at a great time. The rain has caused a bit of a bloom and there was almost no wind.

We had never been out that way before, but are already planning our next trip down. Maybe in March. It's definitely a drive down there for us too - 250 miles or so thru dreaded LA traffic.

Great shots! I’m taking the family out there in our off road rig the day after Christmas for a few days. Plan to spend one full day driving through the various washes and up to Font’s point.
