With our fog kit we include a harness that you wire to 4 upfitters (or 3 upfitters and a power source).

Each pair of lights goes to an upfitter
Then there is a "control wire" you'd wire up to another upfitter (or as I said, another power source) which turns the back-light on

That seems like a lot of used upfitters. I already have a set of the D-SS on Aux 1 so in an ideal situation, I would want all the fogs main lights on 1 switch and then the backlights on another. As I would probably drive around with the backlights on all the time.

That's up to you. We provide you 4 wires so you can do what you want. If you want to twist 2 pairs together onto 1 upfitter, you can do that. Or if you want to twist 3 pairs together to 1 upfitter, you can do that as well.

3 pairs of Radiance Pods call for 6 amps. So you have 4 upfitters to choose from to power all 3 pairs
3 pairs of Radiance Scenes call for 12 amps. So you could pick from 2 upfitters for those.

But you CAN wire it up that way if you choose.

Do the backlights and main lights wire up separately? For example, would you run the backlights to one upfitter switch and the main lights to the other?
I actually ordered my lights from SpecialtyPerformanceParts and he has a Backlight kit that you install elsewhere so the backlights turn on whenever you turn the truck on. I didn’t want to waste an auxiliary switch for that. It was a simple setup. He also has videos on installing which makes it a breeze. Look up “John Trischler” on YouTube.

I saw that when I was considering the Radiance pods. It's a nice kit and he has a really good youtube video on how to install it. It looked like a simple and elegant solution..

Yea that's even a better set up. I'll check it out.
