Hello everyone,

Newbie here and needs advice how-to remove old decay cracked 3M wrap. Vertical areas aren't so bad however horizontal surface (i.e. roof) is extremely dry and crack (spider web).

Got few estimates from wrap shops but their numbers are way too much.

Your insight is appreciated.

That's going to be a lot of hard tedious labor to get off, that is why the high quote from wrap shops.

This.

I have done many and a job like that would be a good long day of nothing but stripping it off leading into day 2 of getting any glue off and another good wash to get any chemicals off.

Find some plastic razor blades and take your time. Careful if you use a heat gun cause it can damage the paint and make it harder to take off. Glue remover and a soft rag to get the residue.

Like these, and get ready for your fingers to be sore AF lol.
