Hey guys first post! Just got my truck last week and noticed today that the rear speakers sound muffled and weak even with full fade to rear. Can barely hear them with volume all the way up...anyone else have this problem? Could this be a sync3 setting or reset possibly? I reset the sound settings and no go. Any help is appreciated...thanks in advance.

I think others with b&o have reported similar - @lawdog? I think the Sony had more signal to the rear doors than the b&o does, mine (still on the sony amp) can still be heard.

I agree - I picked my 2019 up on June 4th. The back speakers are truly pretty poor overall, even with the B&O name on them. I have had my nephews back there telling me they can barely hear the music.

The car I traded, a 2018 Focus ST, it was recommended to unplug the center speaker on the dash for a similar issue. Once I did that in that car - music sounded more uniform all around.

Maybe it's supposed to be that way? The car stereo guys will typically set it up just like that- with nearly all the sound up front and just a little fill from the rears. A lot of them don't even run rear speakers.

I have the same problem with my rear speakers. Not enough power to them or they just are wired wrong. Weak extremely weak. Close to worthless. To be sure this wasn't an intentional design.

In theory....the dash is your stage....so you want your sound to be set up like it is coming from the dash, just where the windshield meets. The rear speakers are just for "fill" and not intended to be so loud that you can localize the sound to them.

Yes, the B&O system sends very little signal to the rears...they are basically fill and set up that way. I switched my rear speakers for some 6.5 JBLs before I knew this, and would not do it over again...just not enough sent back there by the B&O.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! It is definitely not like any other factory stereo I have ever had in any of my vehicles. I could understand if the stock settings prioritized sound up front but with these even when all sound is faded rear sound weak...almost as if they are covered by a blanket. Not impressed really but not like its too big of a deal to me really...just sub par for how much the truck costs. Thanks again for the comments fellas.

Yup. My Lightning stereo wasn’t brilliant either. Honestly, though, do we want them uncharging another ... $3-4k for a real, quality audio system or is it just better to do it ourselves?
